What technology do we use?
Lessons run in a browser-based online classroom with a shared whiteboard, video and audio. No downloads, no complicated setup — your child just clicks a link at their lesson time.
Runs in Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox on Windows, Mac, iPad or Chromebook.
Around 5 Mbps is plenty. Most home fibre and even mobile hotspots work well.
So your child and tutor can see and hear each other — just like an in-person lesson.

Can I sit in on a lesson?
Yes. You're welcome to sit in on any lesson — we encourage it, especially in the first few sessions. Some parents like to be present the whole way through; others check in occasionally.
How do I track my child's progress?
Your tutor sends a short note after every lesson (what you covered, what's improving, what to practise). A monthly report summarises marks and skill growth. You can message your tutor directly at any time.
Are your tutors vetted?
Every tutor is interviewed, has qualifications verified, and is trained on our teaching approach before they're allowed to take on students. We only work with tutors who have real teaching or tutoring experience in South African curricula.
